PLAYTEX BRA MAKEOVER 2011
Playtex is looking for some of the worst bra problems experienced by women across the country. Do your straps fall down or leave red spots on your shoulders? Do you spill out of the cups or bulge around the back? Does your bra give you an unnatural shape? Do you have a friend or family member with bra problems, too?
Then apply to receive a bra makeover from Playtex!
Fill out the online application form at www.PlaytexBraMakeover.com completely, providing your contact information, demographics, and questions about your specific bra problems. Your application must also include a short essay (no more than 1500 characters) describing why you and your #1 gal pal need a bra makeover and a current photograph of yourself (photo must have been taken in the last six months) demonstrating why you need a bra makeover. If you would like to submit a short optional video in addition to the photograph, you may provide a link to a current YouTube video (made and uploaded in the last six months). Fill in the name and e-mail address for your friend or family member, and we will send her a link to complete the second portion of the application with her contact information, demographics, bra problems, short essay, and photo.
Photos must be in .jpg format and may be up to 4MB. The photograph should show you from the waist up. You do not need to photograph yourself in only a bra. Optional videos may not be longer than 2 minutes and must be uploaded on YouTube with a link provided on the entry form. You should be the only person appearing in the photograph or video. No professional photography or videography allowed. All videos must be in English only.
Only female legal residents of the fifty (50) states of the United States and the District of Columbia who are twenty-one (21) years of age or older, and with bra sizes within the ranges of 36C to 50C, 32D to 50D, 34DD to 50DD, and 34DDD to 44DDD are eligible to apply for the Playtex Bra Makeover. Ladies with A and B cup sizes and with bra sizes outside these ranges are not eligible for the Playtex Bra Makeover.
Applications must be completed and received no later than 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time on May 23, 2011. Both applicants must have filled in all required information and submitted both parts of the application by this deadline to be considered.
Playtex will select four (4) pairs of women (8 total women) to receive a Playtex Bra Makeover in New York City on or about July 11, 2011. The Makeover trip includes roundtrip coach-class airfare for both women to New York City; ground transfers between the airport and the hotel and between the hotel and the location for the bra makeover; single room double occupancy hotel accommodations for three (3) nights; $200 each to cover meals and related expenses; and a professional bra fit consultation, including a diagnosis of your bra fit problems, bra measurement, and fitting in appropriate Playtex products to fit your needs. You will keep the bras into which you are “fitted” during the makeover production, up to 5 bras. You will be filmed throughout the makeover process, including pre- and post-fitting (no inappropriate nudity will be filmed). The Makeovers will appear on the Playtex website and various social media sites. Please do not apply if you are not willing to be filmed and have the makeover footage posted on the Playtex website and social media sites.
Recipients are responsible for any federal, state, and local taxes imposed as a result of receiving the Makeover trip. The approximate value of the Makeover for each recipient is approximately $1840. Recipients are also responsible for any costs and expenses associated with the Makeover trip that are not included above, including but not limited to tips, gratuities, souvenirs, laundry service, room service, local and long-distance telephone calls, insurance, additional ground transportation, and other personal expenses. Recipients must be available to travel to New York for the Makeover trip on or about July 11, 2011.
If you and your friend/family member are selected as potential recipients of a Playtex Bra Makeover, Playtex will contact you via e-mail at the e-mail addresses provided in your application during or around the week of May 30, 2011. There will be additional forms and releases you both must complete and return before you can be confirmed as recipients of a Playtex Bra Makeover. Please note that Playtex will not respond to phone calls or other communications inquiring about the general status of applications.
